OUR PLACE
We just love your stay!
We are running a family business, taking personal care of our visitors. Karystos Mare is an apartment hotel consisting of 18 fully furnished and clean, spread in 3 floors.
In the lobby, you can take advantage of the easy access to your way out and the view to our large garden.
You can also feel relaxed at the internal patio next to the garden.
On the 1st floor, you own a balcony with a view to the sea & the mountain.
On the 2rd floor, choose to be on the top and share with your friends & family, the sea view.

We can arrange to borrow our bikes for 1 day of your stay.
Please, don't hesitate to ask for a bike during your reservations arrangement, so we can schedule our availability.
In case you need bikes for more than 1 day, we will be more than happy to help you rent one.

THE GARDEN
Play, relax, listen to music or just roll over in the grass of the backyard garden. During your stay, there are a number of activities which takes place for you or your children in the garden.
Cooking traditional meals, yoga or a just a fest and a lot of other of events take place in the garden during summer time.

You can go anywhere on foot from Karystos Mare
Just 100 meters away from KARYSTOS MARE you will dive in to PSILI AMMOS beach, the most popular beach of the town. Put on your flip-flops, take a towel and enjoy your swim, along with an energy drink.
PSILI AMMOS BEACH is the ideal point to get in touch with new friends.
Walk 100 meters more to the main harbour street and you will discover BOURNIAS PARK, a very nice garden to walk around with your pet and see a magnificent view to the port. Prefer the sun set time when the colours of the sky change from silver to orange.
Next to BOURNIAS PARK there is a children's PLAYGROUND for swinging and playing with your little sweethearts, while you can feel the sea breeze.
Opposite to the playground, you can visit the ARCHAELOGICAL MUSEUM and listen to the place's history and prehistory. The narration is really worth listening to.
BOURTZI CASTLE is dominating the port of Karystos. During summertime, it operates as the most perfect art center, with a lot of different art and music events. Even the bare walls of the castle and the rough groundfloor, revive the air of the Venetian conquerors and the pirates attacks.
You can go on tasting the traditional "kourkoubines" or fresh fish, on the ports tavernas.

BOURTZI CASTLE
A castle next to Karystos' port, Venetian and an exquisite art center during summertime.
ARCHAELOGICAL MUSEUM OF KARYSTOS
A minimal museum of historical and prehistorical exhibits of Karystos. Ask for a conducted tour and you will be rewarded with the rich content and the amount of heroes and myths lived through the centuries in the area.
CASTELLO ROSSO CASTLE
Up to the very top of the mountain, a Lombardian castle, Castello Rosso, is dominating the hill with a breathtaking view of the golf of Karystos and the Cyclades islands. Visit the Prophetes Ilias church in the castle. Climb up and live a relaxing and romantic experience.
PSILI AMMOS BEACH IS SO CLOSE!
The sea is so close to KARYSTOS MARE. You just need to take a towel and a hat to walk down the street for 50 meters. Enjoy every time of your day.
